MG, BA and South of PI will have favorable weather conditions for solar generation

Over the next 15 days, the north center of Minas Gerais, the state of Bahia and the south center of Piauí will have days with high solar incidence, high temperatures and little cloudiness. The projection is Climate, a company specializing in meteorology.

According to the company, such Meteorological conditions favor the increase in solar generation potential in the region. However, Climatempo does not rule out the risk of isolated rain showers, mainly from the afternoon onwards.

The company also analyzes that the actions of the Intertropical Convergence Zone have been responsible for the increase in cloudiness and intense rains on the north coast of the Northeast, resulting in a low potential for solar generation in the region.

“In mid-March, the climate scenario begins to change. The cloudiness and maximum rainfall gradually move towards the north center of the country, which will reduce the incidence of solar radiation on the surface and will impact a low solar potential in the main generation areas”, adds Climatempo.
