MME nominates Alexandre Peixoto for president of CCEE

The MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy) appointed the executive Alexandre Ramos Peixoto, deputy director of Institutional Relations at Cemig, to preside over the Board of Directors of the CCEE (Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber), replacing Rui Altieri, who closed his mandate this month, after eight years in office.

The information was anticipated by Canal Energia and confirmed by Solar Channel. Alexandre's name needs to be approved by the CCEE Ordinary General Assembly that takes place this Wednesday (19), in São Paulo. The start of the next term will be on May 2nd.
