NeoSolar expands portfolio with Unicoba lithium batteries

A NeoSolar, a distributor of solar energy equipment, expanded its portfolio earlier this week, with photovoltaic kits hybrids of varying powers, ranging from 0.9 Wp (enough for an average consumption of 2,790 Wh/day) to 4.1 Wp (developed for consumption of 12,555 Wh/day).

In addition to the solar panel, hybrid inverter, stringbox, MC4 connector and cable, all of the company's kits also come with the company's lithium batteries. Unicoba, with a useful life of six thousand cycles, equivalent to a period of approximately 12 years. 

According to Unicoba, the lithium batteries supplied have greater storage capacity and faster loading and unloading, being able to withstand up to nine times more cycles than common batteries. The technology is also lighter, weighing up to 50% less than lead-acid ones, in addition to having UPS and energy saving functions.

About the companies

On the market since 2010, Neosolar has business units for On and Off Grid projects, courses and training, as well as solar pumping and special projects. The company belongs to the same group as NeoCharge, business unit in infrastructure for charging electric vehicles.

Unicoba is a national company in the energy storage segment with stationary lead and lithium batteries, with almost 50 years of experience in the market. The company is located in São Paulo (SP) and has a commercial partnership with two offices in Asia, one in Seoul, South Korea, and the other in Shenzhen, China.
