Nexen signs contract with Sengi to distribute 100 MW in modules

The focus of the partnership is to enhance national solar panels with BNDES credit lines

A Nexen entered into a partnership with Sengi Solar to the distribution of 100 MW in photovoltaic modules. The objective is to enhance the national panels with BNDES credit lines.

According to the companies, the agreement aims to meet the demands and projects of integrators, mainly the plants focused on agribusiness.

Among Sengi's solutions, which will be distributed by Nexen, is Amazon line (power of 525-550 Wp and efficiency of 21.3%), which is being produced in factory in Cascavel (PR), opened in October 2022.

"O Sengi product was developed entirely by national engineering. We went after the greatest technologies, best raw material suppliers from around the world to try to create the most efficient module on the market”, said Murilo Bonetto, Research & Development manager at Sengi Solar.

Nexen records increase in revenue

Nexen reported a growth of more than 200% in revenue in 2022, compared to 2021. According to Ítalo De Prá Neto, CEO of the distributor, the projection for this year is to have an increase of 180% in revenue and expand the portfolio with new modules and more inverter lines.

“Nexen has been growing more and more and gaining new partners in all regions of Brazil. We know that our way of service and this proximity to our integrators is a differentiator and with this we have seen great possibilities in the sector”, he highlighted.
