O ONS (National Electric System Operator) and the Eletrobras CGT Eletrosul reported that they completed the reenergization from the 525 kV Itá-Gravataí Transmission Line, late this Sunday afternoon (19).
The measure provides greater reliability in meeting the load demands of the Rio Grande do Sul, especially the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, at a time when part of the SIN infrastructure (National Interconnected System) is still affected by the impacts of heavy rains from the beginning of the month.
In all, 25 transmission lines in Rio Grande do Sul still remain out of operation, in addition to eight transformers and four plants. Among the operating network assets affected by the floods and which returned to operation are: ten lines and seven transformers, according to the ONS.
In a note, the body highlighted that it has been holding meetings with local generation and transmission agents, to monitor reservoir levels and coordinate hydraulic and electrical operations, aiming to manage floods and the region's transmission system.

Energy supply
According to the last bulletin from the Government of Rio Grande do Sul, more of 176 thousand consumer units are still without access to electricity throughout the State.
At CEEE Equatorial, are more than 77.8 thousand points without power, the same as 4.2% of the distributor's total customers. At RGE South, this number exceeds 98.2 thousand units, equivalent to 3.2% of the total.
The last one ANEEL bulletin (National Electric Energy Agency) points out that, despite the number of consumers without electricity having decreased in the State, at least 14 hydroelectric plants continue to worry authorities because of the risks of overflow.
The 14 de Julho, Dona Francisca, Salto Forqueta and Salto Guassupi plants are in alert state, while the Bugres HPPs (Blang and Divisa Dam), Canastra, Furnas do Segredo, Quebra Dentes, Cachoeira Cinco Veados and Rincão de São Miguel continue to attention condition.
