PL 5829/19, which creates the GD Legal Framework, did not enter the agenda this Tuesday (17) in the Chamber of Deputies, as associations in the electricity sector, representatives of the Federal Government and deputies agreed last week.
Industry sources informed the Solar Channel that this occurred due to a small update in the substitute text that had already been agreed between the signatories of the agreement but that was not added to the new text by the proposal's rapporteur, Lafayette de Andrada (Republicanos/MG).
As a result, PL 5829 is expected to be voted on next week. However, the possibility that Congressman Arthur Lira, president of the Chamber, will put the text to a vote during the Plenary later this week cannot be ruled out.
“I just left the meeting of the College of Leaders at President Arthur Lira's residence where the vote was scheduled tomorrow (Wednesday) on PL 5829/19 of the MMGD.”, stated Lafayette on his social networks.
Another obstacle that could hinder the proposal from being considered is the discussion of the Bills that propose changes to the Income Tax rules, the second stage of the tax reform, in addition to the vote, in the second round, on the electoral reform proposal.
