Started in 2022, the Amethyst Project is initiative ambitious of Tangipar Group, which stands out for its complexity in terms of scale and proportion, aiming to install 86 solar plants in 19 Brazilian states.
The action, which will meet the market shared generation, count with projects in GD I – that is, who were connected or had a request for connection quotes filed before the publication of Law 14,300/2022 – in 25 different concession areas.
In terms of infrastructure, there are around 3,800,000 m² of plants built, which together will have a total power greater than 245 MWp.
In total, there are more than 370 thousand 660W Tier 1 bifacial modules of brands Risen It is Canadian under installation, in addition to GoodWe inverters; Sofar and Sungrow, with fixing structures, including trackers manufactured by the Tangipar Group in at least 50% of the plants.
The states that are receiving the implementation of photovoltaic plants are: Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Pará, Pernambuco, Piauí, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Sergipe, São Paulo and Tocantins.
According to the Tangipar Group, all project has specialized management and made up of professionals in engineering, construction, modeling, technical and land studies, environmental care, among others.
Deadline
The Amethyst Project expects to have its works completed in early 2025. When in operation, the 86 plants will be capable of supplying more than 190 thousand homes, considering a average consumption of 187 kWh per month.
In addition to ensuring full compensation of the tariff components (with the plants in GDI), the Tangipar Group highlighted that it filed connection budget requests in advance so that the completion of the works respected all previously established deadlines.
Environmental and social commitment
One of the pillars of Amethyst Project is its environmental and social impact, with a capacity to offset around 22 thousand tons of carbon per year and generating financial savings for energy consumers, increasing accessibility in the adoption of photovoltaic systems and creating employment and professional development opportunities in local communities.
Collaboration between companies
Altogether, the The project has the collaboration of a large part of the Tangipar Group companies, including Ilumisol, Tangisa Investimentos e Aluguel, Sparkin and Xelpon.
Each of them participates in various stages of the process, from planning and production to logistics, implementation, monitoring, execution and management, ensuring that each phase of the project is conducted with excellence and environmental responsibility.

GD 1, muita grana no bolso…….
But this energy is actually used or merely placed in the transmission and distribution networks, where it is dissipated!
