At the Brazilian market, you C&I projects (commercial and industrial) will initially be the protagonists at transition for intelligent systems with batteries. This is the analysis of Carlos Trotta, Sales Director for the Americas at Solinteg.
Because of this, the executive informed that the manufacturer it is focused in foment at the Brazil the use of hybrid inverters with powers from 20 to 50 kW.
“We understand that, in the same way as in Europe, Australia, South Africa, India and several other countries, we have grown exponentially in these powers. Therefore, in Brazil, we will have great success with such systems”, he highlighted.
According to him, the manufacturer also projects that residential on-grid inverter solutions will have great growth in the next year and residential hybrids will be very competitive in the next two years.
“The solar energy market in Brazil in 2023 experienced a great turmoil, in terms of sales of on-grid systems, due to a series of factors. But, with all this panorama, at no point did the market stop being attractive and it already shows that things are gradually aligning themselves”, said Trotta.
“However, with one difference: we have to, from now on, think about new technologies in the solar area, considering that other countries are experiencing excellent growth. What I mean by this is that we now have to think about systems with hybrid inverters and storage”, he emphasized.
In his view, in the coming years the topic to be discussed will be how to implement, scale and, mainly, train professionals in the solar area to think about hybrid systems.
Solinteg Solutions
Regarding the solutions that Solinteg offers to the Brazilian photovoltaic market, the highlights include the on-grid inverters of the Integ O series and the 3-50 kW hybrid inverters of the Integ M series, aimed at residential and C&I applications.
