One bakery chain located in the city of Linhares, in Espírito Santo, will inaugurate in October this year a photovoltaic plant of 1.6 MWp, which will have the capacity to supply 100% of consumption of the group's facilities.

According to Caroline Marim, electrical engineer at Alber Energia, the company responsible for managing the project and work and purchasing materials, the company spends approximately R$ 165,000 per month on electricity bills, totaling R$ 1,980,000 per year.

“It is estimated that in the first five years, the energy value generated annually is on average R$ 1,700,000, considering a forecast of the value of the energy tariff”, he pointed out.

According to her, two new units will be built, scheduled to open in 2023, with the expected savings, which has already been considered to size the plant.

In total, the final cost of the project was R$ 6,325,000, with a payback of approximately four years.

More information about the project

In total, the photovoltaic system has 3,024 535 W panels from Jinko Solar, divided into 144 strings of 21 modules each.

“The modules were installed in metal structures fixed to the ground in a total of 36 tables, with a capacity of four strings each,” he said.

The plant also has six 225 kW GoodWe inverters, each of which receives a total of 24 strings, divided into 12 MPPTs, as well as six 300 kVA transformers.

“The complex also has a decentralized configuration, that is, the inverters are close to the generation and a line of approximately 300 meters at 13.8 kV runs from the plant to the measurement cabin and connection to the utility network”, explained the engineer .

Currently, the project is in the commissioning and final adjustments stage for energization and connection to the concessionaire.
