The Tier 1 manufacturer AE Solar was elected “2023 Top Performer” by PVEL (PV Evolution Labs) with its series of Aurora photovoltaic modules.

A AE Solar's Aurora line includes modules with PERC technology, with a power range of 335 W to 670 W and a 30-year performance warranty, as well as a 15-year product warranty.

Monofacial panels with backsheet white with 144, 132, 120 and 108 cells, as well as monofacials with black and white backsheet with 144, 132, 120 and 108 cells. Alexander Maier, CEO of AE Solar, pointed out that the recognition by PVEL resulted from the “effort to provide innovative and high-quality solutions”.

“Having our line of Aurora photovoltaic modules recognized as Top Performer by PVEL is a source of great pride for us at AE Solar. This recognition meets our mission to develop solar energy through the highest photovoltaic expertise and with a superior ecological approach, clean and risk-free, and a safe source of energy worldwide. This shows that we are on the right path”, he stated.

The manufacturer highlighted that the Aurora product line, along with its other photovoltaic modules, will be exhibited at Intersolar, in Munich, Germany (booth: A3 180), from June 14 to 16, 2023.

O PVEL is the leading independent laboratory for the global photovoltaic sector and offers an integrated certification program focusing on module reliability and power generation performance.

Every year, the laboratory evaluates PV modules with significantly more stringent reliability and quality parameters than the IEC standard (International Electrotechnical Commission), providing the solar sector with independent, reliable and consistent data on the reliability and performance of products from the main brands operating in the market.0

The assessment carried out by PVEL includes IEC tests for thermal cycling, moisture resistance, dynamic mechanical loading, moisture freezing and potential induced degradation (PID) impact.
