The General Assembly of Creditors of Sices Solar, an importer and distributor of photovoltaic equipment, accepted the company's judicial recovery proposal, with approval by 90% of creditors, representing 64% of credits. The decision was taken this Friday (24).
The company entered into judicial recovery in April 2020 and during the process it received financial advice from Íntegra Associados. The process was approved by the 1st Regional Court of Business Competence and Conflicts Related to Arbitration, of the TJ-SP (Court of Justice of São Paulo).
According to Leonardo Pantaleão, CEO of Sices, the significant vote in the judicial recovery shows the confidence in Sices and its enormous growth potential, especially at this time of great opportunities for solar energy in Brazil.
“We have a modern company, with committed employees, partner integrators throughout the country and a team of specialists ready to meet any customer demand, from agribusiness plants to domestic installations. Sices is prepared for the challenges of consolidating solar energy as a low-cost and environmentally effective energy matrix”, stated Pantaleão.
The company has 150 direct employees and hundreds of partner integrators throughout the country. In recent months, it has maintained its presence in the photovoltaic solution sector and projects 400 MW in solar DG (distributed generation) deliveries by the end of 2021.
“The judicial recovery caused Sices to reinvent itself, adapting to the natural challenges arising from it, and is now prepared to continue its activities with quality and efficiency. The company, undeniably, is more structured and modernized, following the guidelines of the most prosperous moment in the sector”, concluded Pantaleão.
