A SMA photovoltaic inverter manufacturer announced the construction of a new factory in Niestetal, Germany. Construction is scheduled for the end of this year with the aim of doubling production capacity, reaching almost 40 GW by 2024.
The project has a useful area of 47 thousand m² and will be designed to manufacture systems focused on the photovoltaic plants large scale. Furthermore, construction will expand the job market, with the creation of 200 new job opportunities.

Furthermore, greater proximity to the customer will be an important factor, especially in the segment of large-scale photovoltaic plants”, comments Reinert.
