SNEC 2023: utility scale, panel cleaning and energy storage

SNEC, the largest solar energy fair in the world, had its second day this Thursday (25) with displays of tools for cleaning photovoltaic modules, storage solutions, among other technologies.

With an estimated participation of more than 300 thousand visitors, the event is being held at the SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Center) exhibition center, located in Pudong, Shanghai, China.

Check out some of the main highlights of the fair on the second day below.

Module cleaning: Several companies presented photovoltaic technology professionals and enthusiasts with their solutions to ensure the efficiency of solar panels through preventive maintenance, such as cleaning the modules.

Hoymiles: The manufacturer presented its latest innovation, the FLEX series, a simplified plug-and-play power system that, according to the company, contributes to reducing installation time on 70%.

“We are thrilled to see the tremendous enthusiasm and interest from visitors, who are eagerly exploring our innovative range of cutting-edge solutions and innovative technologies,” the company said.

Sofar: the manufacturer displayed its new utility scale solution, the SOFAR PowerMaster. The novelty brings to the photovoltaic and energy storage market a product that can meet the needs of large projects.

Hopewind: the company exhibits its 350 kW inverter at the fair, a solution aimed at industry. The company also features solutions that target a higher ROI and lower LCOE for business owners and families. Additionally, it displays its energy storage system in batteries

FoxESS: the company presented a variety of its inverters and energy storage systems. “Our energy storage battery “mountain” made up of stacked batteries is a highlight of the event,” said the company.

AlphaESS: the company presented two new features: the self-developed liquid-cooled container energy storage system and the air-cooled STORION-H30 plug-and-play outdoor cabinet. “These cutting-edge solutions captured the attention of attendees and industry experts,” the company said.
