A Sofar showed off his latest technological innovations at Intersolar Europe 2023, held in Germany. Among the highlights were the PowerNano microinverter and PowerIn ESS.

According to the company, such products complete a portfolio for all scenarios, covering the residential, C&I (commercial and industrial) and public services sectors.

“PowerNano is suitable for applications in all scenarios through a combination of microinverter, smart home hub and AC battery, providing a solution that is easy to distribute, install and maximizes the ROI of installing PV in the home,” they emphasized.

Combining solar with energy storage, the company stated that the system guarantees maximum safety by integrating RSD (Rapid Shutdown), IP67 and with DC operating voltage<60 V, extinguishing the possibility of DC electric arc and preventing fire risks.

Compatible with high-power photovoltaic modules with 182/210 mm cells, which can reach up to 700 W, the system is capable of achieving an increase in energy yield of up to 5%, with plug-and-play installation.

With the intention of closing a contract with Sofar, partners sign MoUs (Memoranda of Understanding). “By the end of the event, we had signed MoUs for 200,000 units with PowR Group, Elicity, PV Selected and Vögelin,” they reported.

Other solutions

During the fair, the company launched two new solutions for the global market. The first new product announced was the 350 kW/three-phase PowerMega line of inverters, intended for large solar plants.

The second new feature was the PowerMaster line, which features the modular ESS (Energy Storage System) solution with up to 3.44 MW of capacity.

“Our launches represent a landmark step towards achieving global net-zero goals through a portfolio of all-scenario solutions,” said Guy Rong, senior vice president at Sofar.

“This demonstrates our commitment to accelerating the availability of affordable renewable energy. By leveraging our R&D (Research and Development) capabilities, we will continue to innovate and provide solutions to drive a sustainable future,” he concluded.

Intersolar South America

In addition to Intersolar Europe, the company will also exhibit its launches at Intersolar South America 2023, which will be held between August 29th and 31st in the city of São Paulo (SP). The stand will be B.2.50.
