A SolarGroup, manufacturer specializing in fixing systems for the photovoltaic market, reached the mark of 2 GW sold in structures for solar generation projects in Brazil.

According to the company, growth was driven by increases in electricity bills with this year's tariff adjustments, including the red flag and the current Water Scarcity flag, which added, on average, around 30% to Brazilians' energy bills.

To meet the growth in orders in Brazil and South America, the company promised to expand its two photovoltaic panel support factories installed in the municipalities of Santana do Parnaíba and Itapevi, both in the state of São Paulo, with investments of R$ 18, 7 million in 2022.

The company also plans a series of new product and technology launches in the coming months. At this year's Intersolar, the company presented as one of its highlights a new solution for fixing structures on fiber cement roofs.

Currently, Solar Group has 410 employees and participates in photovoltaic projects throughout Brazil and part of South America. “Our investments are directed towards expansion of operations and ensuring excellence in service to market players”, comments Norberto da Costa, the company’s commercial and marketing manager.
