SolarEdge announced its financial results for the second quarter of this year. The company reported revenues of US$480.1 million, 18% up from US$405.5 million in the previous quarter and 45% up from US$331.9 million in the same quarter last year.
Regarding revenues from the solar segment, US$ 431.5 million were recorded, 15% above US$ 376.4 million in the previous quarter and 39% above US$ 310.1 million in the same quarter of 2020.
“We are happy to end the second quarter of 2021 with record revenues in our solar and non-solar businesses and with continued strong demand for our products across geographies and across different segments,” said Zvi Lando, CEO of SolarEdge.
“The company is successfully navigating the challenging supply chain environment while continuing to support our customers’ growth and expansion with new and existing products.”
Outlook for the 3rd quarter
Outlining an outlook for the third quarter of 2021, SolarEdge pointed out that revenues will be in the range of US$ 520 million to US$ 540 million. Regarding those in the solar sector, they will be around US$ 460 million to US$ 480 million.
