Solarprime is part of the ranking of the 50 largest franchises in the country in terms of number of units, according to a data survey carried out by ABF (Brazilian Franchising Association).

In 2020, the company had 265 open franchises. In the past, showing a growth of 68%, Solarprime reached 46th place in the ranking, with a total of 443 units opened in the period of one year.

Second Raphael Brito, founding partner of Solarprime, the photovoltaic sector was still in the development phase and was not part of a structured market.

“When we created Solarprime, the market was emerging, it was all bush. There were very few projects already installed in Brazil and most people didn't know what it was or that they needed solar energy. The vision of looking at the still small market and seeing how much it would grow made us desire structured growth. And to achieve this, we decided to go hand in hand with people who, like us, really believe in the business. Having chosen good partners was perhaps our main merit”, declares Brito.

In 2018, Solarprime achieved total revenue of R$ 26 million. The following year, with a significant increase of 460%, the company reached R$ 119 million and, between 2020 and 2021, the increase was R$ 62 million.

The estimate is that the franchise will reach revenues of R$ 360 million by the end of 2022.

In an exclusive interview with Canal Solar, Brito discusses the importance of being among the 50 largest franchises in Brazil by ABF.

“It is a privilege to be included in the ranking of the 50 largest franchises in Brazil, even more so with the endorsement of a major institution like ABF. This brings great credibility to Solarprime and gives confidence to the customer when investing their money in energy generation, especially in a growing market where adventurous companies are born and closed every day”, says the founding partner.

According to him, the main factor that distinguishes the company from the rest, and explains its triumph, is that the Solarprime franchisee has access to great advantages. In technical analysis, Brito's estimate is that, over the years, investments in the sector will multiply.

“The market trend is to grow and become more professional every day. The year 2022 brings us an even greater responsibility, after the publication of the distributed generation law that was sanctioned in January. Investments in the sector are already increasing through legal security, and our responsibility as solid companies is to deliver everything with the best quality and efficiency possible, creating a strong sector that is here to stay”, he declares.
