Sun Mobi announces partnership with GET Energy Trading

With the new investments, enertech should offer 200MW of solar energy in the next three years
With the partnership, GET Energy Trading now holds a 50% stake in Sun Mobi

enertech Sun Mobi announced a partnership with GET Energy Trading, the energy trading arm of investment manager Prisma Capital, with the aim of expanding the offer of its solar plants in subscription programs. The companies thus intend to offer 200 MW of solar energy for projects in the next three years.

With the partnership, GET Energy Trading now holds a 50% stake in Sun Mobi and has already announced investments of R$ 16 million in the expansion of the Wanda Maria Bueno plant, in Porto Feliz (SP).

With the expansion, Sun Mobi will expand its solar energy subscription services to consumers served in the CPFL Piratininga concession area from February 2022. Another focus of the investment will be on the construction of new own solar complexes, with an initial focus on the states from Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

“The combined operation of Sun Mobi and GET Energy Trading, reinforced by the support brought by Prisma Capital, will allow us to be seen as another option for enabling investment in new plants, offering current and potential investors an alternative to the competitive contracting market long-term for large energy consumers”, says Guilherme Susteras, partner and CEO of Sun Mobi.

Also as a result of society, more innovations and technologies are expected in the areas of energy efficiency and artificial intelligence, bringing new updates to the Sun Mobi application that allows its users to monitor electricity consumption in real time.

According to Alexandre Bueno, partner and commercial director at Sun Mobi, the partnership with GET Energy Trading aims to further democratize access to photovoltaic technology, guarantee competitiveness for companies by reducing operational costs and easing family budgets in times of need. water crisis and tariff adjustments.

“This type of solar energy supply contract [supplied by Sun Mobi] has grown exponentially in the country, driven by the lack of need to invest in its own electricity generation system on the roof or on a small plot of land, in addition to the ease of the adhesion process . It is ideal for consumers who are in rented properties, apartments or who are unable or do not intend to make their own investments”, explains Bueno.
