Sunova launches bifacial modules with efficiency of up to 22.9%

A sunova Solar announced in the Intersolar Europe 2023, held in Munich, Germany, which developed five versions of its new bifacial solar panels.

The equipment has power ranging from 585 W to 605 W It is efficiencies from 22.1% to 22.9%. According to the company, they have N-type monocrystalline TOPCon 186mm cells.

“They are the result of a special set of cells that allowed Sunova Solar to reach efficiencies of up to 22.9%, the highest currently on the market among modules made from TOPCon cells,” said the manufacturer.

With a 15-year warranty, TOPCon Sunova panels have a degradation of 1.0% in the first year and 87.4% after 30 years. Furthermore, they have operating temperatures ranging from -40 ºC and 85 ºC.

According to the company, the panels have an IP68-rated junction box and an anodized aluminum structure, with both sides covered in 2.0 mm glass.
