Sunways highlights the importance of hybrid inverters at the GD Sul Forum

The manufacturer states that the adoption of this technology will enable increasingly exponential growth in the sector

A Sunways explored during the 14th GD Sul Forum, held from June 21st to 23rd in Florianópolis (SC), with professionals and academics from the industry, the main issues and opportunities related to solar energy sector.

During the event, Carlos Trotta, country manager for Sunways Brazil and Latin America, presented the topic focused on how the company responds to the future of transition to on-grid and hybrid inverters.

“When we selected the topic about the transition from on-grid inverters to hybrid ones, we thought about the different eventss that will certainly make this growth increasingly exponential in a few years”, said Trotta.

The manager also highlighted the relevance of this transition, as the Law 14,300, increase in electric and hybrid cars in rotation, new Inmetro regulation for hybrids and even the battery market.

“Batteries are still a problem due to their high cost. However, we show that, according to Bloomberg research, by 2030 storage costs will fall significantly, in such a way that it will allow a decrease in the value of the system as a whole”, he explained.

The executive also revealed that the confidence for this transition is due to the discussions presented at the Forum. “We discussed improving the training of the entire chain involved in distributed generation, as only in this way will we be able to deliver to the end user a successful experience in solar and always guarantee your physical and financial security”.
