Sunways has launched a new range of three-phase multi-MPPT string inverters, with high current inputs, with a power range of 30 kW to 60 kW.

With the launch, the manufacturer fills the power gap between 25 kW and 60 kW, completing the deployment of the power range for commercial and industrial applications.

According to the manufacturer, in addition to having a power range from 30 kW to 60 kW and four MPPT inputs, the STT 30-60 KTL line can perform online string diagnostics through the Sunways monitoring portal, including the IV curve analysis.

Additionally, the input current has been optimized to take full advantage of the benefits of high power modules with 182mm and 210mm cells, resulting in a system with LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) when compared to systems built with conventional modules based on 166 mm cells.

Also according to Sunways, the inverter is equipped with IP66 protection and active cooling technology, being capable of operating in extreme outdoor circumstances, such as high humidity, high temperature, high salinity and dusty locations. And the inverter generation data can be read by the OLED display and the APP Sunways anytime and anywhere.

Furthermore, the inverter is housed in a compact molded case, with dimensions of 600 mm wide, 400 mm high and 270 mm deep. According to the manufacturer, it is one of the smallest inverters on the market compared to other products in the same power range, particularly 60 kW.

Sunways' portfolio also includes on-grid inverters with powers ranging from 1 kW to 125 kW and hybrids with powers from 3 kW to 12 kW. “Sunways, with its powerful, innovative and sophisticated R&D capabilities, has introduced inverters to the market, making Sunways the inverter manufacturer with a complete manufacturing line to meet changing demands around the world,” highlights Carlos Trotta, Sales Manager for Brazil and Latin America.

Sunways was founded in 1993 in Konstanz, Germany, and is now headquartered in Ningbo, China. The company has 28 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry and develops, manufactures and distributes string inverters for on-grid photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems, as well as data communications solutions and monitoring and management accessories.
