A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) will open a public consultation to discuss the tariff review from the Cemig (Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais), which predicts an average increase of 10.03% to be received by consumers.
To the Contributions can be sent by email between March 1st and April 14th, with a public and in-person session scheduled for March 17, in Minas Gerais. For more information, access the website.
High voltage consumers may see an average increase of 5.25% in their tariff, while low voltage consumers may see an average increase of 12.52% from May 28th. For residential consumers, specifically, the effect to be perceived is 11.98%.
According to ANEEL calculations, considering the energy injected, the estimate of technical losses in distribution is 7.83%. For commercial losses, calculated on the low voltage billed market, a reduction trajectory is proposed, starting with 6.99%.
The process will also establish the corresponding limits of the company's DEC (Equivalent Interruption Duration per Consumer Unit) and FEC (Equivalent Interruption Frequency per Consumer Unit) quality indicators, for the period from 2024 to 2028. The proposed average annual reduction is of 2.22% in DEC and 3.89% in FEC.
