More than 227 municipalities in the state of São Paulo won one new subscription service of solar energy.
A photovoltaic plant in Américo de Campos (SP) had its opening this tuesday (20). She will answer in remotely small and medium-sized companies in concession area of the distributor Elektro.
Included are cities in Greater São Paulo, Arujá, Cabreúva, Caieiras, Francisco Morato, Franco da Rocha, Mairiporã and Santa Isabel. Furthermore, it will also arrive in coastal municipalities such as Bertioga, Guarujá, Itanhaém, Mongaguá, Peruíbe and Ubatuba.
The project is the result of a partnership between the GreenYellow, a multinational focused on energy transition, and Sun Mobi, an enertech specialized in solar energy subscription services.
While GreenYellow is responsible for the project, Sun Mobi will be responsible for customer relations, management and sales.
The plant has 5 MW of installed power and aims to democratize access to photovoltaic energy in the state, without needing new investments. Contracting the service will be online.
Benefits for consumers
The plant will supply energy to all types of buildings: from homes, businesses, to small and medium-sized companies. In total, the construction of the plant, which will avoid the emission of 650 tons of CO2 per year, generated more than 50 direct jobs in the region.
“This type of solar energy supply contract has grown exponentially in the country, driven by the lack of need to invest in an own electricity generation system on the roof or on a small plot of land, in addition to the ease of the adhesion process”, says Alexandre Bueno, partner at Sun Mobi.
