A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) opens this Thursday (11) second phase of contributions to Public Consultation nº 045/2019. The objective is to receive suggestions from society on the future standard that will establish the operational criteria for reducing or limiting generation in the SIN (National Interconnected System).
According to ANEEL, the regulation under study on the subject will determine the requirements for reducing or limiting generation from plants dispatched centrally by the ONS (National Electric System Operator) in the PDP (Daily Production Program), after processing the DESSEM computational model and in real time.
The Agency considers three situations, according to the operational criteria, for the reduction or limitation of generation to be applied by the ONS:
- Unavailability in facilities external to the respective plants or sets of plants;
- Compliance with electrical reliability requirements for equipment belonging to installations external to the respective plants or sets of plants and which do not originate from unavailability of the respective equipment; It is
- Impossibility of allocating energy generation to the load.
Regarding the distribution of the commercial effects of the reduction in generation, the ANEEL board decided to address the issue in the regulatory processes, currently under study, which deal with the right to reimbursement of constrained-off for the different generation sources.
The second phase of Public Consultation No. 045/2019 will be available for contributions until September 26th this year via email [email protected].
More information about the consultation will be published on the ANEEL Public Consultations.
