5 states are open for registration for energy efficiency projects

A Enel Brasil will provide approximately R$ 18.5 million for energy efficiency projects for the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goiás and Ceará. According to the concessionaire, those interested in participating in the CPP (Public Call for Projects) for Energy Efficiency can register their projects until January 25, 2021. According to Enel's announcement, the CPP provides the opportunity for projects to be presented that aim at conscious energy consumption. The financial resources for the projects will come from the PEE (Electrical Efficiency Program) of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency). According to the concessionaire, the process has only one phase and the proposals will be analyzed, considering the mandatory documentation required, the quality of the initiatives and the proposal's score. In the State of Minas

Cemig (Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais) is also open for registration for energy efficiency projects. According to the company, R$25 million will be allocated to the projects. Proposals can be sent until December 17th this year. They must aim to use efficient energy through improvements in customer facilities and the implementation of incentivized sources. They can come from industrial, residential, commerce and services, public power and public service, rural and projects that include improving public lighting.
