With the growth of companies in the DG (distributed generation) segment, the ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation), which already includes more than a thousand member companies, began this month a process of restructuring its boards. This change led to the creation of five management centers.
The Regional Directorates of Piauí and Maranhão were created, headed by Jean Cantalice and Patryckson Santos; the Ceará Regional Board will be under the care of Sydney Ipiranga;
When creating the Thematic Directorates, three new centers were established: Training and Qualification, directed by Fábio Furtado; Relationship with the Integrator, managed by Tiago Fraga; and Special Projects, under the command of Aurélio Souza. In the Directorate of Institutional Relations and Professional Councils, Flávio Wacholski was reappointed to the position.
For Guilherme Chrispim, president of ABGD, the change was necessary to continue providing good service. “The entity’s growth follows the evolution of the sector. Therefore, to continue maintaining quality service and the ability to anticipate market movements, we are expanding the group of regional and thematic directors”, he explains.
Tiago Fraga, director of Integrator Relations, highlights the importance of expansion for the market. “Demands are increasing, especially those requested by integrators, with difficulties connecting to network systems and approval being the most common. With this new organizational chart, ABGD will intensify its work to resolve this and other difficulties.”
