During this holiday season, the AE Solar decided to donate photovoltaic modules to the Circus Grow and Live, a sociocultural NGO that serves children and adolescents in Rio de Janeiro.

The action was coordinated by Revolusolar, a local non-profit organization that promotes sustainable community development through solar energy.

The initiative to donate the equipment took place after a visit by the German manufacturer to the Rio de Janeiro favela Babilônia, at the invitation of Revolusolar, in October this year.

Since the visit, the company has also completed a project, with the support of distributor Helte, to encourage the young generation to save energy.

“With the support of our local representative office, we bring joy to the children of the Circus. Renewable energy helps combat climate change. This is what we aim to offer children around the world and this is our purpose for the season as well,” said Alexander Maier, the CEO and founder of AE Solar.

In 2021, the AE Solar won the “Partnership for Sustainability” award, the main award from the UN (United Nations) Global Compact initiative, for sustainability, peace, environment and economic leadership. The award aims to promote the implementation of sustainable strategies in companies, employees, management and various levels of administration. In total, the company already operates in more than 95 countries.
