AE Solar signs partnership with Fotus Distribuidora Solar

Distributor sells the German manufacturer's HALF CELL 460 W module in kits

Fotus solar distributor announced the addition of a new brand to the company's catalogue. The partnership with AE Solar, a German manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, was recently made official.

Operating in the market since 2003, the AE Solar integrates more than 95 countries with its modules, the manufacturer also has certification Tier 1 by Bloomberg, which researches the company's financial health and classifies it as reliable and active for the market and banks that may invest in it.

The AE Solar module sold by Fotus is the model HALF CELL 460W, with anti-PID technology.

According to Ramon Nuche, general director of the company, the partnership with Fotus distributor comes in line with reach the northeast region of the country. “Our first partner in a logistical and most strategic position for this is Fotus, which is set to be a long-term customer,” he stated.

Asked about the expectations of this partnership, Nuche highlighted that the volume sold could reach up to 150 MW. “In conversation with the CEO of Fotus, José João, we closed the volume expectation for this year of AE Solar at 150MW”.

“Another main reason for this partnership is because the company is robust, with several years of experience in the market, Fotus is strong mainly in imports, they have a quality product strategy”, concluded Nuche.

Today, Fotus distributor serves more than 8 thousand registered integrator partners and, according to the company, in addition to the new partnership, it is also carrying out optimizations in its business: for example, updating the website and launching the new quotation platform for its integrator partners, all with the aim of meeting the latest market demands.
