A Aldo Solar reached the mark of 220 thousand solar energy generators sold (10 thousand of them in January alone), which is equivalent to an approximate power of 2.1 GW and more than 5.6 million solar panels distributed in Brazil.
Currently, Aldo has a 30% share in the solar DG (distributed generation) market and, according to the company, the photovoltaic energy generated by the distributor's equipment has already prevented more than 2.7 thousand tons of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere.
According to data released by ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), Brazil already has more than 821 thousand solar energy generators installed and distributed among 836 thousand consumer units, which results in 9.1 GW of installed power.
For Aldo Pereira Teixeira, president and founder of the company, the numbers presented by the company only reinforce the growth of renewable energy, especially solar in Brazil.
“Each generator delivered is a step towards a future of harmony between natural resources and our modern lifestyle. After all, if consumption does not tend to decrease, the ideal is for our energy sources to be renewable”, he said.
