ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) opened, this Thursday (26), Public Consultation No. 070/2020 to debate the draft of the Auction for Supply to Isolated Systems, scheduled for March 26, 2021.
In total, there are five lots, intended for supply solutions for consumer markets for isolated systems.
According to the agency, it is expected to serve 23 municipalities in five Brazilian states: Acre, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia and Roraima. In total, the power required by the projects is 93.7 MW.
The start of supply for all batches is scheduled for April 1, 2023. The period varies from 28 months to 60 or 180 months, depending on the interconnection forecast and the source. In the case of renewables, the period is up to 60 months.
ANEEL also stated that supply solutions may consider the mixed use of sources and technologies, including energy storage.
The public consultation will be available for contributions between November 26th and January 11th of next year. The draft notice and other related documents can be accessed at ANEEL website.
