Next Tuesday (17), the Hotel Premium, in Campinas (SP), will host the Performa Solar workshop – a meeting with professionals from the photovoltaic sector, which aims to discuss technical and commercial content.

Among the confirmed lectures is that of the sales director of BYD Energy Brasil, Marcelo Taborda, who accompanied the implementation of the company's first photovoltaic module factory in 2017 and who led the project to reopen the multinational's new production line in 2022.

The subject will be part of his speech, as well as the differentiators that the manufacturer will present to the market, such as high-power modules, which range from 450 W to 670 W, and BYD's new integrated solution project.

“It will be a significant year for solar due to the growth in installed power, job creation and definitions that bring greater legal certainty. Likewise, it is a special moment for BYD Energy in the DG (distributed generation) market”, explained Taborda.

Visit to the module factory

Another difference in the event's program will be the guided tour of BYD's photovoltaic module factory, on the morning of the 18th, for the delegation registered for the workshop.

The new facilities opened last month, after receiving a renewal of their equipment and processes such as multi-busbar, half-cell, 1/3 cut cell, micro-gap and negative-gap.

The new feature allows BYD to begin marketing its new line of high-power, mono and bifacial modules, ranging from 450W to 670W, and to carry out the lamination and encapsulation of conventional or double-glass modules.

Performa Solar

In total, the Plataforma Solar workshop will last 11 hours: starting at 8am and ending at 7pm, with 13 presentations.

In addition to the BYD director, lectures are also planned with Orlando José, from GDPLace; Mauro Filho, from Elétron Seguro Solar; Abdel Janene, director of Pratyc Estruturas; Alan da Silva, from Parciom, Isaque Guanabara, from Mercado Solar; and José Márcio, from Embrastec.

The meeting will also feature presentations by Luiz Pereira, from SolDiBen; Marco Souto, from MaxEficiencia/Mais que Eficiência; Eduardo Nicol, from Renew Energia; Jean Diniz from SolarView; Léo Fornazieri, from Sol.Zap, and Matheus Pêgo, from PV Clean.

After passing through Campinas (SP), the workshop will go to Maringá (PR) on July 19th and Cuiabá (MT) on September 14th. The closing of the itinerant circuit is scheduled for December 7th, in Joinville (SC).
