“We made it available to all leaders to work very hard in the second half of the year on green agendas, renewable energy agendas, green hydrogen, carbon credits and offshore wind energy. Currently, several proposals related to the renewable energy sector are being processed in the Chamber of Deputies. One of them is the PL 412/2022, which aims to create a regulated carbon credit market in the country, the text of which was promised for analysis by the House in August.
The offshore wind project (PL 576/2021) remained stalled in the Chamber after sectoral differences between the deputies involved. The document has a direct link with the regulation of green hydrogen, which appears in another bill (PL 2308/2023) to be analyzed by deputies.
