Campinas (SP) will have air-conditioned buses powered by solar energy

The city of Campinas, sp) will have six new air-conditioned bus generated by from solar energy. In total, there will be five devices with 20 thousand BTU's each (a conventional model has 140 BTU's).

You vehicles were manufactured by Comil Bus SA and were recently acquired by Itajai Transport, a company that operates city lines. “A unit is already on the way and will soon be in operation”, highlighted Comil in a note. 

In them, the photovoltaic panels were positioned to be on the sides - one position considered strategic for greater capture of sunlight it is a less impact from obstacles, like tree branches. 

The VThese 15 meter vehicles are powered by biodiesel, have 43 seats and also have: individual USB connectors, itinerary, internal LED lighting, three doors, one of which has an elevator for accessibility for users in Campinas and other cities.
