Coema (State Council for the Environment of Ceará) approved the Morada do Sol Photovoltaic Complex project, located in the rural area of the municipality of Aquiraz (CE).

The objective is to expand the supply of clean and renewable electrical energy generation, with an increase of 277.35 MWp to the state.

In total, the photovoltaic complex will have six plants with a total leased area of 734.56 hectares in the Fazenda Ateiras property, where 71 Huawei SUN 2000-215 KTL-H3 inverters will be installed.

Furthermore,  Coema approved the environmental licensing resolution for green hydrogen. The state is the first to take this measure in the country.

Resolution no. 03/2022 provides for the procedures, criteria and parameters applicable to Licensing and Environmental Authorization within the scope of Semace for H2V production projects for the purpose of power generation in the State.

“It is the result of the effort, effective commitment and consensus of this working group formed by institutions from Ceará. Following the same policy as Governor Camilo Santana, we always seek to prioritize open dialogue”, declared Carlos Alberto Mendes, executive secretary of the Council and superintendent of Semace.
