A DAH Solar recently announced that the average efficiency in conversion of mass production of its TOPCon cell exceeded 26,5%, which established a new record in the sector.

“Laser-enhanced contact optimization technology was used to separate the two main steps of metal erosion and contact formation, considering its high energy concentration and controllability during the high-temperature sintering process. In this way, the sintering process can be controlled more precisely,” explained the company.

According to the manufacturer, the complete integration of the equipment was completed in seven days, which not only improved efficiency, but also effectively reduced the difficulty of polycrystalline return, showing an importance for the long-term competitiveness of TOPCon cells.

The DAH Solar TOPCon base completed construction to operation in six months, achieving production ramp-up in 23 days. “That is, reaching an industry-leading level in three months and setting a new mass production conversion efficiency record in six months.”

“As a reference company in the photovoltaic industry, DAH Solar's continuous advancements in the industry's key technological fields highlight the company's innovative strength and perseverance in leading the industry, providing a strong driving force to promote industrial modernization and sustainable development” , concluded the company.
