Minas Gerais energy company launches auction to purchase solar or wind energy

A Cemig will purchase electricity from an incentivized source, coming from solar and wind generation projects. Registration is now open and continues until October 3, 2022.

According to the notice published by the company, deadlines for PPAs (energy purchase contracts) will be for 10 or 15 years, starting in January 2026 and continuing until December 2035 and 2040, respectively.
