Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, solar energy proved to be resilient, being one of the segments that grew the most last year. In China, for example, this increase was 55% compared to 2019, reaching 48.2 GW in 2020.
Among the companies that have followed this growth is Solis, a manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters. The company achieved an increase of 74% in revenue.
Furthermore, in the first three quarters of 2020, the company's investment in R&D increased by more than 100%.
According to the manufacturer, this increase is the result of the company's attitude that the company is paying attention to the photovoltaic market.
“Solis has always placed innovation and development as its starting point and has continuously improved its ability to respond to domestic and foreign market demands,” said Kun Zhang, Product Director of Solis Global HQ.
Solis products are exported to several countries, including Brazil. “2020 has come to an end, and we have heard the clarion call of 2021. In the future, Solis will continue to be guided by the rapidly growing market, relying on strong R&D capabilities, advanced production equipment, and is committed to providing users with products they no need to worry”, highlighted Yiming Wang, president of Solis.
