Residential customer saves R$ 10.6 thousand monthly with solar

More and more consumers are investing in solar energy solutions to achieve energy savings and efficiency. It is the case of a residential customer which installed a plant located in the city of Paranavaí (PR).

According to Reinaldo Costa, Sales Director at Solar Premiere, the company responsible for the project, the consumer is obtaining a monthly savings of R$ 10,600 with the photovoltaic system.

In total, 208 555 W modules from Sunova and a 75 kW inverter from SAJ, as well as a Minuzzi three-phase autotransformer. The project's average monthly generation is approximately 14 thousand kWh.

Autotransformer characteristics

The Minuzzi equipment used in the project has the following characteristics:

  • Power of 100 kVA;
  • 380V input;
  • Input current of 151.93 A;
  • 220V output;
  • Output current of 262.43 A;
  • 60 Hz frequency;
  • Voltage class 1.1 kV;
  • Class F insulating material (155ºC);
  • Limit: class F temperature rise (105ºC);
  • ABNT NBR 5356 reference standards;
  • Installation: sheltered (IP-23);
  • High purity electrolytic aluminum winding;
  • Applied voltage: 3,000 V (hi-pot).

“Our transformers and autotransformers, for the Solar line, are carefully optimized to ensure low no-load consumption losses and high efficiency,” he said. José Roberto Minuzi Junior, industrial director at Minuzzi.

“Our priority is to carefully select components that maximize the transfer of energy captured by the solar panels, making the entire system more efficient”, he highlighted.

Furthermore, he stated that the company invested in innovative technologies to improve the economic viability of the system, ensuring not only energy efficiency, but also a long-term financially advantageous solution for customers.

“We are always dedicated to incorporating the latest trends and best practices in the sector, ensuring that our transformers and autotransformers are at the forefront of solar technology, providing reliable and sustainable performance for any photovoltaic energy project”, concluded the executive.
