PL 5829/19 (Bill 5829/19) which aims to create the GD Legal Framework gained strength this Tuesday (18).
This is because the CP (College of Presidents) of the Confea/Crea/Mútua system approved the manifesto in support of the proposal that creates the GD Legal Framework. Currently, the college brings together all the presidents of the Regional, Federal and Mutual Councils.
During the second ordinary meeting of the collegiate in 2021, Rodrigo Sauaia, president of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy), explained to the presidents the importance of the project.

The executive highlighted that Creas in the North and Northeast Regions had already expressed support for the project. With this, civil engineer Afonso Lins (Crea/AM), coordinator of the Colégio de Presidentes, suggested that the collegiate take a position. The measure was accepted unanimously and it was agreed that the CP will forward a manifesto in favor of PL 5829/19 to deputies and senators.
At the beginning of this month, Confea, ABSOLAR, CNA (National Confederation of Agriculture), Proteste, among other institutions, met with the Podemos party bench in the Chamber of Deputies to deliver a letter subsidizing parliamentarians about the benefits of own generation of solar energy.
