Electricity bill will increase by 13.8% for CPFL Paulista customers

A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved, this Tuesday (5), the 2022 Annual Tariff Adjustment of CPFL Paulista during a meeting of the Agency's board of directors. 

For residential consumers, the approved high was 13.80%. For low voltage, the average was 14.24%, while for high voltage, the average was 16.42%.

You new values come into force from Friday (8) for approximately 4.7 million UCs (Consumer Units).

According to the Agency, the components that most impacted the readjustment were the sectoral charges and activities related to the distribution and purchase of energy. Among the main municipalities served by CPFL Paulista are Campinas, Ribeirão Preto, Bauru and São José do Rio Preto. 

Readjustment in MT and MS

The Agency extended the validity of Energisa Mato Grosso do Sul and Energisa Mato Grosso tariffs. The 2022 Annual Tariff Adjustment for distributors, which would be approved, with new tariffs coming into effect from Friday (8), will be decided by the ANEEL board after evaluating the technical information relevant to the approval of the tariff process.
