A Cordeiro Energy Solutions and the Fockink – a company specializing in solutions, projects and equipment for rural producers – announced an agreement to supply equipment for the installation of photovoltaic systems for agribusiness customers.

Through the partnership, Cordeiro will deliver the necessary components to meet the projects developed and executed by Fockink.

The presence of solar energy in the field, in DG (distributed generation) systems, grew by just over 20% in the last four months, surpassing the 1.3 GW mark, according to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).

Given the agreement with Cordeiro and the high demand, Fockink estimates that the sales volume of photovoltaic systems could increase between 50% and 60%, in 2022, compared to 2021.

“Commercial agreements like this are important to add predictability to the supply and purchasing chain, which brings significant gains for both companies and end customers”, said Jorge Caparroz, Commercial Director at Cordeiro.

For Juan Miguel Algorta, national commercial manager at Fockink, having a partner specialized in solar energy will guarantee the availability of photovoltaic kits for consumers in times of high demand.

“The average savings on the electricity bill for those who decide to make this investment is 30% to 40%, which is promoting the growth of this source of clean energy in the countryside”, he explained.

According to Alexandre Sathler, manager of strategic planning and Market Intelligence at Cordeiro, with the forecast of rising electricity costs, the forecast is for years of growth in the photovoltaic matrix, increasingly taking advantage of Brazil's potential and offering alternatives.
