O Crea-SP (Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council of the State of São Paulo) carried out 3.459 inspections at the solar energy sector at the first half of this year, an increase of 62.5% compared to 1,996 actions carried out in the same period of 2022.
The balance refers to the activities in the 645 municipalities of São Paulo and all actions aimed to check in the presence of companies and qualified professionals to watch over safety of the work carried out.
To the main irregularities found in the first semester involved:
- Companies without registration with Crea-SP;
- Companies without a technical manager;
- Companies with a lack of ART for the contracted work or service;
- Professionals without registration or visa with Crea-SP;
- Companies lacking a license plate for the professional responsible for the work or service.
According to Crea-SP, all inspections were not carried out through visits to the facilities. The actions were carried out from diligence carried out by tax agents of the Council through consultations on the websites and systems of entities such as the Federal Revenue Service, Jucesp (Commercial Board of the State of São Paulo) and Crea-SP itself.
Therefore, 3,459 installations or projects were not inspected, but rather actions involving all these stages for installation of photovoltaic systems, such as inspection of the installation site; system sizing; preparation of the engineering project; purchase of equipment; supplier management; hiring of labor; and approval of the project with the energy distributor.
General balance
Adding up all sectors and segments, Crea-SP carried out more than 290 thousand inspection actions in the first half of this year, compared to the annual objective of 600 thousand.
From 2021 to 2022, the growth in the number of inspections carried out was 160%, when Crea-SP consolidated a historical record of more than 462 thousand inspection actions.
“This represents an advance in professional development because, when society recognizes the importance of engineers, agronomists, geoscientists and technologists, it begins to demand the presence of these professionals and seek them out”, highlights the president of the Council, engineer Vinicius Marchese.

Established 89 years ago, the federal agency is responsible for supervising, controlling, guiding and improving the exercise and professional activities in the areas of Engineering, Agronomy and Geosciences. Crea-SP is present in the State's 645 municipalities, has around 350 thousand registered professionals and 95 thousand registered companies.

HOWEVER, THERE IS ENDLESS EVIDENCE THAT CREA DOES NOT HAVE ANY COMPETENCE OTHER THAN TO CHARGE FEES FROM ITS “ASSOCIATES”.
I MENTION FROM THE MAJOR ABERRATIONS SUCH AS THE BRUMADINHO AND MARIANA BARRIERS, LIKE THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURVES ON ROADS WITH THE OTHER SLOPE THAT GENERATED AND ARE GENERATING SO MANY FATALITIES AND THERE IS NO SUPERVISION NOR HOLDING RESPONSIBLE ACCOUNTABILITY.
I FINISH BY SAYING THAT I WAS SATISFIED TO BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE CHANGE OF BRAZIL'S ENERGY MATRIX, MITIGATING THE COUNTRY'S FAMOUS PROBLEM OF HAVING ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE ENERGIES IN THE WORLD, IMPACTING ABOVE ALL ON GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS AND THE COST OF PRODUCTS FOR OUR PEOPLE, BUT IN DISpleasure TO WHAT THIS COUNTRY DOES TO EVERY ENTREPRENEUR BY CHARGING FEES, TAXES AND BUREAUCRACY, I MAKE HERE MY COMMITMENT TO CLOSE MY REGISTRATIONS AS A LEGAL ENTITY AND GO TO OTHER BUSINESS.
CREA AND ITS EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE HELD CIVILLY AND CRIMINALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERY DEATH IN THIS COUNTRY THAT WAS PROVENLY CAUSED BY TECHNICAL ERRORS AND THE RELEASE OF WORK THAT WAS IMPROPERLY EXECUTED DUE TO LACK OF INSPECTION.
