Cubo Itaú will host a meeting of startups on the future of the energy sector

O energy sector has attracted many investors and new interested parties, due to the changes that have been happening in recent months. With the opening of the free energy market for small consumers scheduled for the second half of this year, the expectation is that it will be a promising future for the sector.

Given this scenario, the startups are of great importance for the future of the market, considering the constant advance in national and international growth.

In order to discuss the topic, the Itaú Cube, one of the largest startup ecosystems in Latin America, will host the 1st edition of Energy Innovation Day 2023, in Sao Paulo. O event will take place on the 26th and will feature the participation of several experts and representatives.

Schedule

The meeting schedule will begin at 9 am, accompanied by a coffee break. Promoted by Lead Energy (energy solutions startup) and Shooju (a company focused on data management), the opening will be presented by Raphael Ruffato, CEO of Lead Energy, with a contextualization of the scenario.

The first lecture will be given by Rafael Turella, co-founder of Cubi Energia, addressing important management issues for companies. Next, startups Nextron and Voltera will discuss DG (distributed generation) and the future of the free energy market, respectively.

The second part of the event will address topics such as process automation for the energy sector, a perspective on the technologies involved in the energy sphere and the role of the CCEE (Electric Energy Trading Chamber) in the future of the market.

Round table

To close, Ricardo Lima, Jean Albino, Silla Motta, Galdino Barros and other guests representing the startups present will take part in a chat about the sector.

“This is an opportunity that we, as startups, have to bring innovation to the energy market and allow it to be more efficient”, comments Raphael Ruffato, one of those responsible for the round table.

According to the businessman, the event is ideal for those interested in understanding how startups and institutions are positioning themselves in the face of changes in the sector.
