Healthcare institutions are increasingly investing in energy efficiency projects. One hospital in Campinas (SP) and that of Brasília Armed Forces, for example, are some of the many that have adopted renewable technology.

This time a health network, the dasa, announced that it will build 17 solar plants, which will be delivered in 2022 and 2023 to serve some of Dasa Diagnósticos' own units.

Currently, the company has a photovoltaic system in operation, installed in Ceará. The others will be built in regions such as: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Bahia.

“In recent years, we have had significant growth in the sector influenced by the pandemic, which has boosted the health sustainability agenda in companies,” said Sérgio Ricardo, vice president of Strategy, Legal and ESG at Dasa.

“At Dasa, we are increasingly looking for innovations that collaborate with the environment, and building these solar plants is part of this objective of being sustainable”, he stated
