The city of São Paulo (SP) receives from 12pm this Tuesday (23) another edition of Intersolar South America – the largest fair in South America for the solar energy sector, at Expo Center Norte, in Vila Guilherme. Altogether, expected 380 exhibitors and more than 30 thousand visitors over the three days of the event.

For the second year in a row, the team at Solar Channel is present on site as official press of the fair and go bring you the main technologies presented and all the best that happens in the main congresses and lectures.

Check it out below the highlights of the first day of exhibitions (the article will be updated throughout the day) and also be sure to stay tuned on our social networks and YouTube so as not to miss any information about everything being presented at the photovoltaic sector's main event of the year.

Storage

A Unicoba, manufacturer of batteries and energy storage solutions, will take advantage of the fair to showcase the company's news for the Brazilian market. The company's biggest attraction will be the line of customized solutions focused on 4D energy (decentralized, decarbonized, diversified and digital), responsible for supporting the energy transition in applications on-grid and off-grid.

“We believe that more important than presenting products is showing how the storage chain can enhance energy distribution and the integration of renewable and intermittent energies into our electrical matrix”, highlights Marcelo Rodrigues, vice president of business and innovation at the company.

A Moura, in turn, it presents its lines of solar batteries for small and medium-sized storage systems, in addition to the Moura Bess for large-sized systems. According to the company, both solutions rely on both lead-carbon and lithium technology.

The Moura Solar line is also being presented at the company's stand, consisting of the MS series, which can be used for small and medium-sized off-grid solar energy systems, while the MFV series is aimed at medium and large-sized ones. Both rely on lead-carbon technology. The MSL series batteries will also be present, with Lithium technology and which are part of the Moura Solar line.

Another product with applicability in the solar energy segment is the Moura VRLA with the MVA series. The battery can be applied to solar plate trackers to optimize their operation and bring greater efficiency to the solar energy generation business.

Also bringing news to the fair was TS Shara, with the launch of the TS Solar Off Grid UPS line – which features an external charge controller. Available in powers of 1,200, 1,600 and 2,000 VA, the models use MPPT (20A or 40A) or PWM (20A or 30A) charge controllers to store energy in the batteries through photovoltaic panels, when the electrical grid is unavailable. .

High power modules

The manufacturer Osda Solar presented its 580 W and 670 W modules with TOPCon technology, which according Marcel Coelho, the company's Product Manager, “brings great performance in energy generation and is a good product that has an improved cost-benefit ratio”.

The company also displayed its inverters which, according to the executive, should come to the Brazilian market starting next year. He further highlighted the opening of an office in Brazil aiming to bring the manufacturer closer to its customers.

A Ourolux launches Canadian 540 W bifacial solar panels, a product aimed at industrial and residential applications, from small to large and which has high conversion efficiency: from 21.0% to 25.2%, and 669 W bifacial. In addition, the company's stand will also feature a complete line of generators and their components.

The company also presents two bifacial modules: the all black EMST 545BM SG and the EMSH 540BM HC. Both feature bifacial monocrystalline cell technology, to increase the performance of solar energy generation and guarantee its high performance.

Completing the portfolio of photovoltaic modules, Intelbras will present two bifacial modules, the all black EMST 545BM SG and the EMSH 540BM HC. Both feature bifacial monocrystalline cell technology, to increase the performance of solar energy generation and guarantee its high performance.

The German manufacturer AE Solar displays its three new lines of modules: Aurora, with a power range of up to 670 W and efficiency of 21.6%; the Comet, which features photovoltaic cells using heterojunction technology and has an efficiency of up to 22.2%; and the Neptune modules, with hybrid technology, which produce electrical and thermal energy from solar radiation.

Inverters

A Nexen Renewable Energy, a distributor of photovoltaic equipment, brings this year as a novelty to the market: inverters with its own brand, which, according to the company, are lighter and more compact, having among its main differences the low starting voltage, remote monitoring, warranty of 10 years and the fact that they do not require the use of string boxes. The inverters will be available in powers: 3 kW, 5 kW, 6.5 kW and 8 kW.

A PHB Solar was also present at Intersolar. In an exclusive interview with Canal Solar, Ildo Bet, founder of the company, highlighted that the company is coming to the fair to show the launch of the complete solution for photovoltaic plants. “PHB’s new features are solutions for photovoltaic solar plants with the fixing and single-pole system, the 250 kW three-phase inverter and microinverters. Now, we have microinverters up to larger plants.”

Ildo Bet

He also highlighted the technical service offered by the company. “PHB’s secret is 38 years as a manufacturer of power supplies, inverters and distributors of photovoltaic kits. We have technical competence with engineers with more than 30 years of experience to carry out inverter maintenance at component level. We don't discuss whose problem it is, we send the inverter when needed and it serves the end consumer, who doesn't lose revenue from energy generation,” he emphasized.

In addition to photovoltaic modules, Intelbras also launches the EGT 75000 MAX 220V inverter and the EGT 2000 MICRO microinverter. The first is for projects in large businesses, such as airports and industries, while the second is recommended for starting or expanding smaller solar energy systems.

A Elsys is also present at Intersolar with the presentation of a new model of 220V three-phase and hybrid inverters. The first is recommended for companies with high energy consumption, such as industries and businesses. The hybrid model offers a low-power grid-connected storage system solution, ideal for locations with frequent power outages.
