What's new

Among the highlights will be the launch of the financing line for condominiums from Banco BV, in partnership with My Solar Financing. In this modality, the generation of solar energy is possible through the construction of a central plant, which can be located in a common area or on the roof of the building.

The energy generated is fully injected into the local distributor's network, generating credits, used in the common areas of the condominium. According to Iasmym Jorge, general manager of MFS, the installation of this type of plant is interesting due to the high energy consumption of condominiums, allowing the investment to have costs diluted among participants, which makes these projects competitive.

“My Solar Financing offers lines of credit that allow you to finance the entire project, facilitating the initial investment in the technology. It is an economical and sustainable solution to reduce the high energy bills of these projects”, he states.

Already the ABSOLATE (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (ABSOLAR) announced the launch of a certification program for companies operating in the value chain of the Brazilian solar sector.

This is the “ABSOLAR Quality” certification, with the purpose of promoting healthy competitiveness based on best business practices and raising the levels of safety, quality, performance and satisfaction in products and services delivered to electricity consumers.

According to the association, the program will have voluntary participation by companies and will be aimed at equipment distributors, manufacturers, installers, integrators, operators, designers and companies that offer training.

ABSOLAR structured the program within the so-called designation mechanism, a process in which an entity recognizes the capacity and authorizes third parties competent in certification (certification companies) to carry out quality and safety analyzes and assessments.

The program has three levels of membership, which include certification for companies that meet basic, intermediate and advanced (more complete) requirements. For the basic level, the applicant company must join within six months of the start of the program.

In the case of the intermediary, membership must be made within 12 months and, at the most complete level, membership can be made at any time. The certification cycle is 36 months and companies can request entry into any of the levels provided.

ABSOLAR informed that it will make an official website of the certification program available to the market with all details, including operation, list of designated bodies and updated list of certified companies, among others.
