ANEEL Director is summoned to speak at a public hearing

To the commissions in Mines and Energy it's from Financial Surveillance and Control will hold, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (21), from 2pm, a public hearing for listen to the director of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), Hélvio Guerra. 

You deputies demand clarification from the director about statements made for him on March 29th, when the executive made criticism of PDL 365/22, stating that the Brazilian deputies are unaware of the electricity sector and that they would be driven by lobbying.

Such project aims to suspend two Agency resolutions, published in June and September this year, which deal with the definition of the methodology for calculating TUST (Tariffs for Use of the Transmission System). 

Representative Danilo Forte (União-CE) was one of the applicants for the meeting with Guerra at the Mines and Energy Commission. “Hélvio Neves Guerra made unacceptable statements against the parliamentarians of this House,” he said. 

The request to hold the hearing was also signed by deputies Arthur Oliveira Maia (União-BA) and Beto Pereira (PSDB-MS). In the Financial Inspection and Control committee, deputy Evair Vieira de Melo (PP-ES) also requested the presence of Hélvio Guerra to explain the executive's statements.
