A DMEGC Solar, founded in China in 1980, announced the start of operations at the Brazilian market. According to Danilo Borrigueiro, the company's commercial director in the country, with the projected increase in capacity to 25 GW by 2025, Brazil is fundamental to the brand's expansion plan.

“It is an honor to be the spokesperson for a leading company in the global market for manufacturing photovoltaic modules and cells. We believe that the Brazilian energy matrix has a very prosperous path for solar energy”, he highlighted.

“This creates opportunities for the distribution channel and large projects to have brands like DMEGC in their product portfolio that truly ensure quality, and this is guaranteed through major certifications such as PVEL, EUPD and BloombergNEF, which are part of our reality” , said the executive.

According to Borrigueiro, the company is expanding the scope of service and structuring, and the Brazilian market is one of the main parts of this strategy.

“We have a national operational base, with local operations so that we have the possibility of meeting the needs in an efficient and personalized way for the distributor and projects. To make this possible, we have engineering development, support, after-sales, marketing and commercial teams made up of experts in projects and distribution”, he highlighted.

According to the company, the last quarter of 2023 was one of consolidation and structuring in Brazil and now partners can count on the brand's full support nationally.

The focus, in 2024, is to create an industry/distribution partnership system and projects in which DMEGC partners will have several advantages such as training, personalized service, development and assistance with distributors and negotiation competitiveness.
