PHB is a company with 36 years of operation, whose DNA is the constant innovation and technological development of products with the highest quality for the electronics, telecommunications and solar energy sectors.

To this end, PHB Solar engineering has one of the strongest technical bodies on the market, with its team including doctors, masters, engineers and technicians.

PHB was born with the manufacture of the first switching power supply in Brazil, developed by me. Later, other electronic equipment was designed, such as inverters, rectifiers, converters, etc. With the growth of solar technology in the world, PHB entered the market as one of the pioneering companies.

PHB Solar engineering helped consolidate the sector's foundations by participating in the development of standards and supporting the implementation of laboratories for inverter testing. It is worth highlighting that I was coordinator of the ABNT 003.082.001 study committee that works on technical standards for the photovoltaic sector.

Today, PHB engineering participates in several research projects with renowned institutions such as USP (University of São Paulo) and CPqD (Center for Telecommunications Research and Development).

As a result of this research, PHB Solar developed a container storage system, the first Lithium-Ion battery in Brazil and a vehicle charging system.

Qualified technical team

PHB Solar's technical team is one of the most qualified in the photovoltaic sector. Engineering works actively with suppliers to implement product improvements, analyzes market trends, participates in the process of developing photovoltaic standards and research projects.

As examples of the work that engineering does, I highlight:

  • The first inverter certified by INMETRO;
  • Developed the inverter’s own output voltage adjustment software;
  • Launched the first single-phase string 127 inverter on the market;
  • It has one of the largest lines of 220V three-phase inverters in Brazil;
  • It has a team for the development of metallic structures;
  • Developed the most complete kit on the market.

Own laboratory

PHB Solar engineering has its own laboratory equipped with all the instruments for inverter development and testing. This way it is possible to test improvements to the equipment’s firmware and hardware.

Before being launched, all inverters undergo a series of tests to simulate different operating conditions. This ensures greater adaptation to the real conditions of the Brazilian electricity grid.

Technical assistance

Technical support located in Brazil offers quick responses to integrators. Support includes the correct installation of equipment, helps diagnose problems in the field, provides documents, manuals and certificates, analyzes warranty activation and makes adjustments to the inverters.

Maintenance department

When the problem cannot be resolved in the field or the equipment needs corrective maintenance, we have a technical department to repair the equipment. This department analyzes whether the failure is covered by the warranty and, if necessary, repairs the product.

Qualification and training center

PHB Solar is concerned with the quality of photovoltaic installations and the need to have a highly qualified market. Therefore, it has adequate infrastructure to offer free training to all partners.

It offers face-to-face training in CT (suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis), holds webinars with relevant topics, brings knowledge to all regions of Brazil with the PHB Solar Academy and supports training centers implemented by educational institutions such as Senai, Institutos Federal and Universities.

PHB Solar is more than a distribution company

As can be seen, PHB Solar differentiates itself from many companies operating in the market that focus only on the commercial side. It is a company that invests in technological development and offers solutions to partners that do not depend on third parties.
