Dyness displays news for the energy storage market

A Dyness presented at Intersolar South America 2022, held from the 23rd to the 25th of August in São Paulo (SP), its latest solutions.

According to the company, the Powerbox Pro, which supports five units in parallel, is easy to install and has an IP65 protection level, and the B51100 module, which also has OTA remote online update and intelligent energy monitoring functions, and can be connected with Dyness Smart App.

“These two products have the main benefits of high energy efficiency, high weather resistance, easy expansion and installation and are suitable for residential energy storage applications in South America”, highlighted the company.

Already the new RV12100 battery supports up to eight units in parallel and has high capacity and good temperature stability. It is an alternative lead-acid battery with light weight, longer service life, low self-discharge, and can achieve all types of protection and recovery protection independently.

“It can be applied in various scenarios. In addition to conventional recreational vehicles, solar panels and ships, it can also be used in airports, medical institutions and other scenarios that require deep cycle batteries,” they added.

Dyness in the Brazilian market

To the Dyness, Brazil, as the sixth largest economy in the world, is no longer a spectator who remains outside the solar market, but an emerging market with more potential.

On the one hand, Brazil and China are both BRICS countries, and both are the largest developing countries. The total economic volume and population base are enormous, and the Per capita electricity consumption is high.

“However, network coverage is low and power cuts are more frequent. On the other hand, the country has a vast area, excellent light resources and electricity demand is growing year by year,” they stated.

Therefore, in the manufacturer's view, the Brazil has a large market size, a high proportion of national income, a rapid growth rate of new installations and a huge demand for commercial and industrial, residential and off-grid storage products. “Total demand in this segment is expected to reach 20 GW / 50 GWh by 2030”, they estimate.
